Wendy, My Darling is a collaboration between solo theatre artist April Wish, musician and television producer Tamera Glover, television producer and director Krysia Plonka and visual artist Mahsa Zargan. The piece is a No-So-Solo Indie Rock Musical that explores the multidimensional experience of navigating what it means to be a woman, post Me Too. Told through a series of multi-media/live scenes as well as monologue and live boom-box musical performance, Wendy, My Darling is the story of Wendy Darling (of Peter Pan), after she has grown. This Indie Rock Solo Musical finds our hero, Wendy, juggling motherhood and middle age, trying to find her own authentic voice as she becomes unwittingly thrust into the spotlight. It is a hilarious, yet poignant, look at one of the world's most unexamined main characters. The piece stars April Wish, with special video appearances by Busy Phillips and Jon Cryer. In previews, the show received several awards and a nearly entirely sold out run.
